I joined elance.com on Monday, February 15 for the first time. I saw the GMA piece and thought reverse outsourcing would be a great opportunity for me to delve into.
I am due any day with my second son. I have extensive experience in journalism, sales, fundraising and communications. My last job was with a health care provider assisting fundraising officers in bringing dollars to the hospital. I really want to work from home and use the skills I have amassed over the years as an administrative assistant and communications coordinator and journalist. I just am not sure I am marketing myself as best as I can.
I have a basic skeleton of a profile on the elance website. Would you be willing to check it out and provide some feedback to me? I also have a resume which, as I said earlier, is not my best marketing tool.
As I said I am due to have my son (his brother is very excited, as am I, and Daddy!) any day now and will be expecting a return to significant income, via work, within six to eight weeks of delivery.
